We at Asta Agency are collaborating with Kamstrup in this recruitment process. The process is conducted through Asta, and you will then be employed directly by Kamstrup.

About the Position

As a Customer Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing high-level service to Kamstrup's customers and act as their primary point of contact. With your technical expertise, you will independently resolve many customer issues and collaborate with specialized colleagues when more complex questions arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Resolve technical problems, inquiries, and questions from customers regarding all of Kamstrup's products, services, and solutions remotely.

  • Troubleshoot advanced technical issues within Kamstrup's products: Hardware, software, configuration, installation, networking, various radio technologies, and analysis tools. Investigate and discuss possible solutions within your own team and escalate when necessary.

  • Clarify the scope of problems and define cases related to service requests, bug fixes, and functional and improvement suggestions. You will work closely with Kamstrup's international teams in customer support, customer service, as well as development and technical expertise.

  • Train customers and colleagues in Kamstrup's systems, services, and applications and participate in customer-related activities as needed.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal systems and processes, and actively participate in developing the knowledge database and documentation.

Qualifications and Attributes

As a person, you are responsible and enjoy independently driving and solving your tasks, which can vary in scope and complexity. At the same time, you appreciate working in a collaborative environment where you value good communication with your colleagues and are eager to help them succeed as well. You also have solid experience in advanced technical support, including working in one or more ticketing systems, such as ServiceNow.

Kamstrup welcomes candidates from diverse backgrounds, but it is important that you have experience in technical support in an environment where you have worked with products or solutions that combine hardware and software. You are communicative and clear in both speech and writing, curious, and motivated to learn new things. You have a strong technical understanding, work independently, and feel confident in driving your cases forward. At the same time, you are collaborative, unpretentious, and solution-oriented, with a clear focus on the customer's needs.

Additionally, you have:

  • A technical degree (bachelor's level or higher) in computer science/IT, electronics, mechatronics, or another relevant field.

  • At least five years of experience in a customer-oriented role within technical support or a similar function with high technical complexity.

  • Experience in an outward-facing role with many points of contact, both internally and externally.

  • Curiosity and enjoyment in solving complex tasks while keeping focus on the customer's needs.

  • Ability to easily acquire new technical knowledge and translate it into understandable actions for customers.

In this role, you will primarily support Swedish-speaking customers, but you will also collaborate with international colleagues and occasionally provide support to English-speaking customers. Therefore, it is a requirement that you are proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of other Scandinavian languages is a plus.
